    There is an easy way to do conditional probability. Suppose the experiment was done 3500 times and the results followed expectations. You would get bag 1 orange = 500 bag 1 purple = 200 bag 2 orange = 500 bag 2 purple = 200 bag 3 orange = 500 bag 3 purple = 200 bag 4 orange = 140 bag 4 purple = 560 bag 5 orange = 140 bag 5 purple = 560 Since the drawn ball was purple consider only the 1720 purple balls 600 of those balls came from the first group so the answer is 600/1720 = 15/43
