please solve this one in simplest way, moreover what should be our approach in such type of question when value of anything is given in function of anything like here for Cv

    Here note that, they can make more difficult questions from the same concept. They could have given different Cv's for the two systems. In that case, you just need to do different integration for both parts. Here number of moles doesn't matter(they have not talked about in question) , they can make it a bit complicated by giving different number of moles for both systems. from the derivation I have attached, now it is obvious that if moles were different, you couldn't take n(number of moles) common and devide it to zero of RHS . just make a note of these two things. These type of questions will be easy for you to solve. Best regards .

    That's a really interesting question , and acc to me when any relation is given like Cv or Cp or reservoir temps in some complex relations, always start from first basic principles because chances of will be reduced then and for this I ll urge u to go through derivations of them as well bcz mostly such questions are slight variations of derivatio only . like here I have begin with principle of calorimetry. Also atlast I have given a general formula were specific heat is given constant in question
