Abhishek sir how u write 100°C = 100K ,i think answer will come in °C

    eduncle-logo-app

Here temperature difference is given to be 100°C , but in case of temperature difference, you can write in Kelvin too ( as , (x+100)°C - x°C = 100°C ,you can write it as ((x+100+273)Kelvin - (x+273) Kelvin) = 100Kelvin. And in the formula of efficiency you should strictly use temperature in Kelvin. Best regards.

yeah ,me too didn't get the solution that u attached.. here in the question, it is given that Carnot engine work between temperature difference 100°c(100k) and u know Carnot engine work between source (which is at tempT1) and sink(which is at temp T2) so given temperature difference is equal to T1-T2.. and the solution is attached.. this will help u.

Don't follow this solution, it is not correct, even it is giving wrong Answer. Remember, I told you earlier(I guess it's yesterday) that we have two formulas for efficiency, one in terms of heat exchange and another in terms of temperatures of sink and source. equate both formulas and get your answer. for better understanding go through the solution. Best regards.
