Temperature is a measure of the average kinetic energy of the atoms or molecules in the system. The zeroth law of thermodynamics says that no heat is transferred between two objects in thermal equilibrium; therefore, they are the same temperature.hence statement is correct. average kinetic energy as it is given by K.E = 3/2 . K . T where K is Boltzmann Constant and T is absolute temperature of object. If two objects are in thermal equilibrium then they will have same temperature and hence they will have same kinetic energy.
