why here P=0 how it is consider as free expension although it is not given in question and what this free expension

    Oh, I see what is bothering you. But now on, you will never get confused about this term. In simple terms, What does it mean by free? Answer is , which comes without any cost. Now in thermodynamics terms, it has similar meaning. Free expansion means expansion with any cost of external force( and hence without external pressure as pressure is directly related to force). Hence P=0 , in free expansion. Now see the attached for more information.
