Two objects of masses m, = 200 gm and m, = 500 gm possess velocities v, = 10î m/sec V, = 3i-5j m/sec. Just prior to a collision during which they become permanently attachad each other, then (A) (B) (C) (D) mlsec. an ached 23. The velocity of center of mass is 5i+25j The initial momentum in the center of mass frame is 35i +25j kg.m/sec. The final momentum in the center of mass frame is zero. Final K.E. of the system after collision is 8.75 Joule.

dear, the option b, c is asking for initial and final momentum in center of mass frame so you have to first find the velocity in center of mass frame.. here is the solution... according to this option a, b, d is incorrect and option c is correct..
