Two objects of masses m, = 200 gm and m, = 500 gm possess velocities v, = 10î m/sec V, = 3i-5j m/sec. Just prior to a collision during which they become permanently attachad each other, then (A) (B) (C) (D) mlsec. an ached 23. The velocity of center of mass is 5i+25j The initial momentum in the center of mass frame is 35i +25j kg.m/sec. The final momentum in the center of mass frame is zero. Final K.E. of the system after collision is 8.75 Joule.

yeah you are right.. option d is incorrect.. your approach to find k.e is right... see the attached pages, all things will definitely clear to you... best regards.
hope u will get it.
