    for a compound to be an optically active it must lack plane of symmetry and optically active compounds are resolvable. therefore in q33, all are optically active except A which possess plane of symmetry and is Therefore optically inactive and non-resolvable. similarly in Q34 all compounds except D are optically inactive due to presence of plane of symmetry hence are mesomeric and non-resolvable. compouns D is optically active due to lack of symmetry hence is resovable

    in Question 33 A option is correct as all the given compounds don't have plane of symmetry except A. the compound A is meso compound as it possesses plane of symmetry therefore can not be resolved. In Question 34, All the given compounds are mesomeric except D which is asyymetric and lacks plane of symmetry therefore can be resolved. hence option D is correct
