Use the force formula, F=kQq/r^2, here in our ques, r= root(2)*a. As u see in attached fig, there are 4 forces in direction shown by green arrow. Take the components of all forces and find out Fx and Fy. Once u get Fx and Fy, then do vector sum of Fx and Fy, ie, F= sqr root (Fx^2 + Fy^2). That F will be our final answer.
