B and D should be correct answers only. Option-C is incorrect because Nickeliferous laterite is a type of residual deposit (not a placer deposit).

Correct answer has to be (B, D). Well you might be knowing about the two major types of chromite deposits-Stratiform and Podiform. Stratiform chromite is mainly found in layered intrusion and usually these deposits consist of laterally persistent chromite-rich layers found alternating with the silicate layers. The silicate layers include ultramafic and mafic rocks such as dunite, peridotite, pyroxenite and sometimes gabbroic rocks. Podiform chromite deposits consist of pod to pencil-like, irregularly shaped massive chromite bodies and they are predominantly found within dunitic (olivine-rich) portions of ophiolite complexes. They are usually found along major fault zones within mountain belts. So A can't be correct. Now coming to C which is also incorrect, as nickeliferous laterite do not belong to placer deposits as they are formed majorly by the weathering of the ultrabasic rocks having excessive amount of ferromagnesian minerals.
