We know what a rational number is. pi-3.14..=22/7, where 22 and 7 are integers and of course denominator (is not 0). we get a irrational numbers pi. comment

pi is irrational number because its non terminating and non repeating .. 22/7 is rational no. because it is satisfying definition of rational number (p/q form ) .. 22/7 is approximate to pi but π is not equal to 22/7 if any doubt then ask

If 22/7 is rational then it must end, right? but it does not end at all.

The value of 22/7 is 3.14285731428573142857… We saw that its decimals repeats after every 6 decimals. So, it is a non terminating recurring decimal so it is a rational number.
