what about metal bicarbonate of alkaline earth metal

    eduncle-logo-app

also metal halide for alkaline earth metal

Group-2 carbonates are sparingly soluble in water as their lattice energies are higher (it is due to increase in covalent nature). Solubilities of carbonates and bicarbonates of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals increase down the group.

Sir plz check the first line of oxysalt. Here the carbonates of alkaline earth metal decreases down the group

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes, it's correct

    eduncle-logo-app

but you said that the carbonates and bicarbonates of alkali and alakaline earth metal increase s down the group

    eduncle-logo-app

bicarbonates have exceptional case, please check I've given correct order

    eduncle-logo-app

so in group 2 bicarbonate will increase whereas carbonates decrease down the group??

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes, you are right
