What does it mean?

The set Q of rational numbers is not a nbd. of any of its points, for if (a, b) is any open interval around a point p e Q, then pe (a, b) z Q Since between any two real numbers a, b there is always an irrational number which does not belong to Q. anv of ite noints

    if you take any open interval containing a ,it does not entirely in Q because any interval will contain irrational also
