A concerted reaction is a chemical reaction in which all bond breaking and bond making occurs in a single step. Reactive intermediates or other unstable high energy intermediates are not involved.

sir why peracid when react will alkene it give concerted mechanism

    eduncle-logo-app

because it is one step mechanism. and breaking of bonds and formation of bonds takes place simultaneously

    eduncle-logo-app

    just like it

sir apne kaha he ki reactive intermidiates or other unstable high energy intermidiate not involved means

    eduncle-logo-app

    pls ye thoda explain kardijia

    eduncle-logo-app

because here intermediate is not formed. direct product is formed

A concerted reaction is a chemical reaction in which all bond breaking and bond making occurs in a single step. Reactive intermediates or other unstable high energy intermediates are not involved. ... The reaction is said to progress through a concerted mechanism as all bonds are formed and broken in concert.

    why per acids give concerted

    eduncle-logo-app

per acid generally go through concerted transition state

    eduncle-logo-app

    so it follow concerted mechsnism

    eduncle-logo-app

    consorted transition state means

    see

Generally reactive intermediates are not involved in concerted mechanism
