Change in any of the factors that govern the equilibrium conditions of a system will cause the system to change in such a manner so as to reduce or counteract the effect of the change

In the presence of a catalyst, both the forward and reverse reaction rates will speed up equally, thereby allowing the system to reach equilibrium faster. However, it is very important to keep in mind that the addition of a catalyst has no effect whatsoever on the final equilibrium position of the reaction.

when concentration of reactant increase, equilibrium shift toward forward direction but add a catalyst doesn't effect the equilibrium
