Quorum sensing is a density dependent communication process amongst microbes and insects. By density dependent we mean to say that more the number of microbes more will be the communication. One example of quorum sensing is biofilm formation by bacteria with the help of which pathogen becomes more and more virulent. Apart from this, quorum sensing helps bacteria and insects to evade harmful effects of antibiotics and insecticides respectively. A free living bacteria cannot evade antibiotics stress the way a cluster of bacteria does with the help of quorum sensing. During quorum sensing, bacteria produces auto-inducers like peptides and N-acy homoserine lactone. Gram positive bacteria like bacillus, lacto-bacillus produce autopeptides which activate transcription factors to induce gene expression.

means after the production of auto-inducers a bacteria can transcripe else not? and a bacteria can transcripe under quorum sensing only?

bacteria can transcribe under many situations including quorum sensing. Transcription is required for synthesis of each kind of protein. Transcription occurs in the bacteria even when bacteria is living freely, transcription is not exclusively related to quorum sensing. During quorum sensing transcription factors which are required for virulence factor gene expression and biofilm development gene expression are activated. But it doesn't mean transcription of other genes is not going on. Every second transcription occurs in an organism's body for expression of those genes which are required for normal day to day activity.
