In organic chemistry, most of the reaction intermediates are produced in situ or in the reaction mixture because they can be unstable or may be toxic if synthesized outside of the reaction mixture.

    got simun??

    eduncle-logo-app

Means here that percaids is generally prepared during this reaction only as it is unstable

    eduncle-logo-app

    any doubt simun??

    eduncle-logo-app

    sir here peracid unstable ?

    eduncle-logo-app

no simun..in the reaction mixture it is prepared as outside the mixture it is unstable..so prepared during the reaction only

    eduncle-logo-app

So we tell this in situ preparation

    eduncle-logo-app

what is the word situ actually

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes wait....

    eduncle-logo-app

see we have to use peracid in reaction...so in reaction mixture we freshly prepare peracid...so it is called in situ preparation...as outside the mixture it is unstable

    eduncle-logo-app

means situ always fresh product form

    eduncle-logo-app

yes means prepared during the reaction freshly

    eduncle-logo-app

    now confusion clear simun??

    eduncle-logo-app

so only freshly prepared per acids are used or

    eduncle-logo-app

yes it is unstable outside the reaction mixture...so we prepare per acid during the reaction and it is used in reaction

    eduncle-logo-app

you also heard about nitrous acid HNO2...it is also unstable..so if we use nitrous acid which are already kept in laboratory then we can't do this as nitrous acid is unstable and it decomposed...so nitrous acid is also prepared in situ

    eduncle-logo-app

Many times in org chem you will be strike by in situ phrase..so don't be confuse then just understand that it is unstable when it is already prepared so it is prepared during the reaction....

    eduncle-logo-app

it is element na...we prepare generally solution ..Na is already kept in kerosene

    eduncle-logo-app

sir situ means the compounds forms in reaction mixture and freshly pripaire are used

    eduncle-logo-app

mwe can't store it and use it na

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes simun

    eduncle-logo-app

it is freshly prepared and used in reaction

    eduncle-logo-app

ok sir tq so much sir 😊

    eduncle-logo-app

    you're always welcome 😊

    eduncle-logo-app

    it's prepared freshly

    eduncle-logo-app

means sir situ a condition during a reaction where unstable compounds are formed

    eduncle-logo-app

sir it is correct or not

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes, it's correct

    eduncle-logo-app

this is used for intermediate because these are unable
