What is the acidity order ? explain

    Acidity order 4>3>2>1 Explanation:- At para position methyl group show hyperconjugation effect (+H) which decreases the acidity of phenol. In case of para tert butyl phenol there is no hyperconjugative effect as no alpha hydrogen and +H effect increases from 4 to 1 so acidity decreases in the order. Hence acidity order will be 4>3>2>1

    4>3>2>1 explanation if alkyl group at ortho or Para position of benzene ring is attached the. it can show hyperconjugation. here we will check the number of alpha H in alkyl group. number of alpha H decrease from left to right so +H decrease and hence acidiy increases in the order 4>3>2>1
