    The oxidation number of Manganese in [Man(H2O)6]2+ is 2+. As the H2O has 0 as oxidation number. As H2O is a weak field ligand so it won't force the metal to pair up it's electron. Now the electronic configuration of Mn2+ is [Ar]3d5 as [Ar] here is the last group Noble gas Argon. So there are 5 vacant electron in it's last orbital. So total number of unpaired electron in this compound is 5.
