A set X is said to be open set if for each element "a" in X , there exist a neighborhood N of a such that a is contained in N which is further contained in X

    Is set X empty?

    eduncle-logo-app

It may be empty or non empty

    eduncle-logo-app

empty set is open since it doesn't contains any element for which can be shown the existence of NBD contained in the set

    eduncle-logo-app

    It may be complex?

    eduncle-logo-app

    open point means?

    eduncle-logo-app

by mistake, I wrote open point..... it's element there

    eduncle-logo-app

But ,in the book written each point should be interior points.

    eduncle-logo-app

I have defined it using the terminology NBD of the points... if there exist a NBD of a point which is contained in that set, then that point is said to be interior point of the set
