Mam, aqueous NaCl soln means one phase and acc to phase rule, F=2-1+2=3 and since conc is fixed, we can say F=2 but how one mam?

hi sonam u are getting confused between two different equations........ look in ionic equilibria there are 2 types of equations... one is gibbs phase rule and other is reduced phase equation..... in single component systems gibbs phase rule is used i. e. Dof= C-P+2 ..... but in 2 component systems reduced phase equation is used ie. dof=C-P+1 .... here as NaCl solution means nacl +h2O which is a 2 component system (refer to binary phase diagram for better understanding) hence here u need to use reduced phase rule... i. e. dof=C-P+1= 2-2+1 =1 kindly inform me wheather you understood or not sonam?
