    The Contract Labour Act 1970
    There are various penalties, whoever obstructs/refuses an inspector in the discharge of his duties- Imprisonment upto 3 months, or Fine up to Rs. 500, or with both.
    Contravention of provisions regarding employment of contract labour- Imprisonment upto 3 months, or Fine upto Rs. 1000, or with both.
    For Continued Contravention, additional Fine up to Rs. 100 for every day.
