when acid and alcohol react then acid loss OH- ion and alcohol loss H+ion, acid has tendency to loss H+ . plese explain with reason.

    there no acid base rxn. H+ lose in acid base rxn . alcohol attack at carboxylic acid and rxn proceed accordingly nucleophilic elimination ....see ester formation mechanism
