    In crust, we find ferromagnetic character. At higher depth (below crust) due to high temperature conditions (above Curie temperature), the ferromagnetic character is lost. Curie temperature is the temperature at which a ferromagnetic material becomes paramagnetic in nature. That is, the temperature at which a magnetic material completely loses its magnetic property.
