HI is most basic because EN order is F>Cl>Br>I more the EN, stronge the bond so HF bond is strong while Hl bond is weak so HI bond can break easily and has most basicity

    HI is most acidic

Since H−I bond is weakest, therefore, HI is the strongest acid. On the other hand H-F bond is strongest, hence it is the weakest acid among all the halogen acids.

sir but f is more electronegative na

    eduncle-logo-app

anand for halogen acid we check weakest and strongest bond

    eduncle-logo-app

For HI the bond is weakest so release of H+ is easier

    eduncle-logo-app

Down the group the electronegativity decreases and the size increases.  Thus, it becomes easy to lose H+ ion. This causes the increase in acidic strength down the group.
