    Ans is A. Modified Amino Acid Hormones- This class of hormones is made by chemical modification of amino acids, mainly tyrosine. They include thyroid hormones and the catecholamines, epinephrine and norepinephrine.

    Answer is (A). A. Epinephrine, also known as adrenaline, is secreted from adrenal medulla. It is also called catecholamine and is derived from the modified amino acid tyrosine. B. Progesterone is also called pregnancy hormone and is secreted from ovary and corpus luteum of Graafian follicle. C. Prostaglandins are the lipid compounds that have hormones like effect. D. Estrogen is a primary female sex hormone which is involved in the development of female reproductive system and also secondary sex characters. So, the correct answer is 'Epinephrine'.
