You can in the 4th line (in the picture) it is written that convolute beddings form soon after deposition (or during deposition sometimes). Other structures in options (cross bedding, graded bedding and massive bedding) form simultaneously with deposition. Convolute bedding forms during the first stages of the sediment's consolidation. Most probable answer should be convolute bedding.

The correct answer has to be (C) ... Convolute bedding (sometimes termed as convolute laminations or one can say slip bedding) is a deformational structure.... You might have seen in the books that it is also sometimes referred to as intrastratal contortions. It is found to be dominating or characteristics of coarse silt or fine sand beda. Due to various irregular distortions found dominating in case this case, a comlex system of vertical motion prevailed rather than lateral displacement. It was found to be associated with some ripple bedded silts amd sands(also note down the fact that ripple bedding is itself oversteepened and even Overturned, somewhat possible in this distortion). You can prefer various research paper on this which are focussed on coping with the confusion between true convolute bedding and load deformation structures quite relative to your convolute laminations.

Answer: (C) Convolute bedding Convolute beddings are formed after deposition as a result of deformational process. While deposition, any bed remain horizontal and convolution comes after deposition because of post depositional processes. Trough cross bedding, massive bedding and graded bedding form during deposition. Trough cross bedding form as a result of dune migration and aggradation. Graded bedding results from suspension fallout. Massive bedding form due to rapid depositional processes.

but it's written in bogg that it occurs during deposition
