    Yes, but in comparison with other fossil groups (Brachiopoda, Bivalves and Gastropods), time range of trilobites is very narrow. So, the most probable answer should be trilobites.

    Answer: Trilobites Index fossils should have narrow geological time range and wide geographical distribution. Trilobites appeared during Cambrian and extinct in Permian and hence work as a good index fossils for Paleozoic Era.
