Answer is (A). RNA has catalytic activity whereas DNA & Lipids don't have. Now talking about earlier conditions when earth was evolving then the environment was very much favorable for the Unstable, Highly Catalytic, Highly mutable elements. RNA is a perfect candidate for these conditions. It has Enzymatic action in Form of Ribozymes, Unstable due to 2' -OH group, Uracil in place of Thymine. So it was originated first before even Protein & DNA. Protein being Biological Catalysts are used now but during earlier reducing conditions it was very difficult for them to be so specific & be doing the catalysis in those extreme conditions.
