option A Two dimensioanl sheet silicates: In such silicates, three oxygen atoms of each tetrahedral are shared with adjacent SiO44− tetrahedral, such sharing forms two dimensional sheet strtucre with general formula (Si2O5)n2n− Ex. Talc Mg(Si2O5)2Mg(OH)2 The structure of silicates has been found with the help of X-ray diffraction techniques.
