particle nature: Atoms or molecules which are exposed to light absorb light energy and re-emit light in different directions with different intensity. This phenomenon is scattering.Scattering may also refer to particle-particle collisions between molecules, atoms, electrons, photons and other particles. Examples include: cosmic ray scattering in the Earth's upper atmosphere. wave nature: Scattering also includes deviation of reflected radiation from the angle when it passes through medium(example in prism) , as includes reflection and refraction on passing through prism, and reflection refraction is wave phenomenon of light.. if u are talking about scattering of light in atmosphere then it is particle phenomenon.... best regards.
