Time management is very much important in IIT JAM. The eduncle test series for IIT JAM Mathematical Statistics helped me a lot in this portion. I am very thankful to the test series I bought from eduncle.

Since binding energy is responsible for holding the nucleons in the nucleus. Nuclear stability is proportional to the nuclear binding energy. The more the binding energy the greater is the nuclear stability. Binding energy is the energy that holds a nucleus together and is equal to the mass defect of the nucleus. For elements with large number of protons in the nucleus, the coulomb electrostatic force of repulsion becomes significant and the number of neutrons must be greater to compensate this repulsion effect. Binding energy of a nucleon is directly proportional to the stability of the nucleus. That's why stability is directly proportional to the Binding energy.
