Why in no 4 markownikoffs rule doesn't works

    markovnkov rule is applicable only if alkene is asymmetrical and also reagent must be asymmetrical such as HBr, HOCl etc. addition of Br doesn't follow markovnkov addition

    molecule 4 is symmetrical alkene. it contain plane of symetry. markonikov rule is ruled out for this molecule.
