Why in this question the order has been change for molten and aquous ?

Chemistry eriodic Table and Chemical Chem Q. Arrange the following species in conducting order LiC, NaCl, KCI, RbCI, CsC LiF, LiCi, LiBr, Lil In molten state Size Li s Nat NaCI > KCI> RbCI CsCl In aqueous State Size Li NaK RbaCs Conductivity LicCI NaCI < KCI < RbCI < CsCl In Molten State Conductivity LiF > LICI> LIBr Lil In aqueous state Conductivity LiF

When alkali metal ion are.in aqueous state then the order is opposite because they get hydrated in aqueous solution...Small is the size of ion more is the degree of hydration

In aqueous solution, due to increased in size down the group thess have less tendency to attract the water molecules around the ion. Li has small size to it attracts more water molecules than Cs. so down the group in aqueous solution size of hydrated ions decrease, so mobility increase and hence conductivity increase

ionic conductance depends on ionic mobility. more the ionic mobility more is the ionic conductance. ionic mobility is inversely proportional to ionic size. in alkali metal on going down the group zeff decrease and hence size increase. so in molten state ionic mobility decrease down the group and hence ionic mobility decrease due to this ionic conductance decrease
