sir.....so aryl halides never show resonance ....

    eduncle-logo-app

overlapping is most deciding factor for inductive effect dominance...but aryl halide show +R effect due to lone pairs on halogen atom

    eduncle-logo-app

overlapping to resonance main bhi Hoti hai

Halogens electronegative bhi hote hai so electrons withdraw krte hai ...show-I effect

Halides show ortho para directing effect due to presence of lone pair but deacting group due to -I effect. so in case of halogens -I is dominated over +M

    eduncle-logo-app

actually halogens are more electronegative so pulls electrons towards it and hence show dominated -I effect

    eduncle-logo-app

    ok sir

    eduncle-logo-app

+ m bhi to show krte hai aryl halides

    eduncle-logo-app

yes krte he na, so aryl halides are o,p- directing but electron density ko decrease kr dete he jise hm deactivating effect bolte he

    eduncle-logo-app

    sir - m - r are same thing right

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes these are same

    eduncle-logo-app

M mean mesoneric effect jb resonance benzine ring me dekhte he to M bolte he otherwise R ka use krte he
