Why not stratovolcano....as it is viscous too

    Language of the question might confuse you, but perfect answer would be (C). Domes are consequently often produced by magmas of more silica-rich dacitic-to-rhyolitic compositions. Domes are steep-sided structures. They are commonly encountered in the craters or on the flanks of large stratovolcanoes.

    Well stratovolcano is the one that produces silica rich viscous magma... It is the source of the highly viscous magma which on eruption due to high viscosity cannot flow to greater distance and steep side volcanic structure forms and that structure ia your volcanic dome.
