The effective nuclear charge decreases...The nuclear charge is equal to simply atomic number and the effective nuclear charge is the net positive charge experienced by the valence electrons... So due to screening or shielding by the inner electrons between nucleus and valence electrons the effective nuclear charge decreases....

sir I m asking why nuclear charge decreases ?

    eduncle-logo-app

nuclear charge remains same...the effective nuclear charge decreases

    eduncle-logo-app

This is experienced by valence electrons...so inner electrons acts as a shield between them

    eduncle-logo-app

sir nuclear charge decreases due to screening effect and that decreases nuclear charge is known as effective nuclearcharge ...so why it is decreases

    eduncle-logo-app

shielding effect ke wajah se attractive force kam hota jata hai...nucleus ka valence electrons ke upar

    eduncle-logo-app

inner electrons screen ke tarah kaam krte hai

    eduncle-logo-app

nuclear charge kya hota he sir

    eduncle-logo-app

Nuclear Charge: the charge on the nucleus of an atom; controlled by the number of protons and electrons present in an atom.

    ok sir

    eduncle-logo-app

sir I m just asking nuclearcharge kam kun hota he?

    eduncle-logo-app

shielding effect k lia hota he but kyun hota hei?

    eduncle-logo-app

phle to shielding effect ka mtlb smjho kya hota he

    eduncle-logo-app

vese video me sb smjhaya gya he

inner shell k electrons ki vjh he outer shell k electrons ka nucleus pr attraction km hona right??

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes sir

    eduncle-logo-app

jb attraction km hoga to nuclear charge km lgega na

    eduncle-logo-app

bas yahi samajh mein nahi araha sir kyun kam hoga

    eduncle-logo-app

sir nuclear charge means atomic no z na

    eduncle-logo-app

    isse smjho

    eduncle-logo-app

nuclear charge alg he or atomic number z alg he

    eduncle-logo-app

    ab is example ko dekho

    eduncle-logo-app

The shielding effect explains why valence-shell electrons are more easily removed from the atom. The effect also explains atomic size. The more shielding, the further the valence shell can spread out and the bigger atoms will be. The effective nuclear charge is the net positive charge experienced by valence electrons.

    eduncle-logo-app

sir what is the relationship between the size of atom and z effective ?

    eduncle-logo-app

A higher effective nuclear charge causes greater attractions to the electrons, pulling the electron cloud closer to the nucleus which results in a smaller atomic radius. ... This results in a larger atomic radius.

apko pta he period me left se right jane pr zeff increase hota he so size decrease hota he

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes sir

    eduncle-logo-app

no of proton increases so size decreases

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes

    check it

    eduncle-logo-app

sir screening constant kese nikalte hein ?

    eduncle-logo-app

Slater rule pda hoga na apne

    eduncle-logo-app

    yes sir

    eduncle-logo-app

slater rule se screening constant S nikal lete he or Z-S kr do to Zeff aa jata he

    eduncle-logo-app

bahi s tho ...kese nikalte heinn sir I m confused
