    because for a=1, f(x)=1 for all x. The graph is horizontal line at y=1

    you are graphing exponential function that's why a=1is constant function (not exponential)..

    Because if you take a=1 then your function become constant (f(x)=1).

    cause 1^x=1 then it will be constant function not exponential one.
