Why the structure v is not stable in resonance?...

    so why not here mention about the resonance of structure v

    str V doesn't have any resonance( free radical is not involved in resonance) as well as hyperconjugation( no of alpha H on sp3 alpha carbon is absent) so it is least stable.

    but their is = bond - bond conjugation ....is present so why not it is a resonating structure

    yes, here structure is aromatic and stable due to 6pi electrons. so free radical is not involved in aromatic system as it is already stabilised. sp free radical is unstable

    listen, you are correct and we can write here resonance but this resonance doesn't effect stability of free radical because free radical is localised and not involved in resonance so we don't include resonance factor in str V

    yes i didn't mention str V as resonating str. because we are talking about free radical and it doesn't involve resonance so why shoud mention free radical as resonating structure?
