Dear student, there are only two possible answer either layer 1 or layer 6. You can't find any youngest or oldest layer in between the succession i.e. layer 2,3,4,5 will be of intermediate age. Either it will a younging upward section (normal stratigraphic order) or younging downward succession (overturned beds). Answer would be either layer 1 or layer 6. Now looking at the question, extinct trilobite is at the top which is not possible, so it must be an overturned section i.e. oldest layer at the top and youngest at the bottom. So the answer should be layer 6.

which is the Youngest layer in the picture given, i thought as layer 1, 4 is of trilobite which was extinct in permian time and layer 5th, and 6th are anthozoa( i.e cnidarians) which is living fossil so answer should be 5th or 6th layer but i m confused in accurate answer.
