  • Kaushik gupta

all probabilities can be obtain by binomial distribution

  • Kaushik gupta

    ii P(40 steps from starting point)=P(7heads and 3 tails)=(10C7)*(1/2)^10=15/128

p(7tails n 3 heads) is also gave same result...so answer should be 2×15/128

    yes you are right

  • Kaushik gupta best-answer

ii P(20 steps from starting point)=P(6 heads and 4 tails)=(10C6)*(1/2)^10=105/512

  • Kaushik gupta best-answer

    i P(back at starting point)=P( 5 heads and 5 tails)=(10C5)×(1/2)^10=63/256
