Students pursuing Under-graduate/Post-graduate Full-time/Part-time Degree/ Diploma courses in colleges or universities recognized under UGC/AICTE/State/Central Government are eligible for this scholarship.

Students will get a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per year as a scholarship. 

 

 

3. Promotion of Science Education (POSE) Scholarship Scheme

 

This BSc Scholarship is for the students who have passed their class 12th in science or completed their graduation in science. It is a merit-based scholarship that encourages students toward science education. Haryana State Council offers this scholarship for Science & Technology.

 

Eligibility Criteria

This scholarship for BSc students needs you to satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

1. Sudents must have taken admission to the following courses in the year 2022:

3-year BSc/4-year BS or 5-year integrated MSc/MS program in basic and natural sciences at IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, DAE-CBS, or any college/university in India.

2-year MSc program in basic and natural science.

2. For admission to UG degree, students must have passed class 10th and 12th from a school situated in Haryana with a minimum of 85% marks for Haryana Board School and 90% marks for other boards like CBSE/ICSE, etc. in class 12th.

3. For admission to an MSc degree, students must have passed class 10th, 12th, and BSc/BA (BA for MSc Mathematics) from a school/college/university situated in Haryana with a minimum of 75% marks BSc/BA.

 

Scholarship Awarded

4. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)

 

This BSc Department of Science and Technology initiated scholarships to help poor and deserving students to pursue basic science courses and research career in science.  This is the scholarship for BSc 1st-year students only.

 

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this scholarship, students need first to satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

Students studying in the 1st year of their graduation in basic science related course (BSc/BS/BStat/BMath) or Integrated MSc, MS and have scored at least 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in maths, physics, chemistry, biology in class 12th are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

 

Scholarship Awarded

Students in the 1st to 3rd year of graduation will get Rs. 5000/- per month and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 20,000.

Students in the 4th to 5th year of MSc and Integrated course will get Rs. 7000/- per month and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 28,000.

5. Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship Programme

 

It’s a scholarship programme for students who want to pursue graduation in engineering, medical, science, law, pharmacy, business management, and other social sciences. This scholarship provides financial assistance to needy and deserving students.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have passed their Class 12th exam and are declared in the merit list of their state board or CBSE board are eligible for this BSc Scholarship.

 

Scholarship Awarded

Students must be Indian and permanent residents of India.

Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) offers Junior Research Fellowship for candidates who want to do research in Physical, Chemical, Materials, and Engineering Sciences.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be in the final year/semester of MSc/BE/BTech /BS or BSc Engineering / BSc [Tech] and have scored above 60% marks in their previous year/semester.

 

Scholarship Awarded

The selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs. 25,000/- per month. This fellowship will be provided for two years.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this BSc Scholarship, students need to follow these eligibility criteria:

Students should have passed their examination in the current year and only in the first attempt. Students passed in the previous year are not eligible for this scholarship.

Category A- For Class 9th & 10th Students: You must secure at least 75% marks in Class 8th.

Category B- For Class 11th & 12th Students: You must secure at least 75% marks in Class 10th.

Category C- Students in their graduation course must secure at least 75% marks for Science/Commerce stream and 65% marks for Humanities/Arts stream in class 12th.

Category D- For post-graduation students, you have to secure at least 60% marks for Science & Commerce and 50% marks for Humanities and Arts in your graduation.

 

Scholarship Awarded

For Category A- 15 students will get Rs. 400 per month for 2 years.

For Category B- 15 students will get Rs. 500 per month for 2 years.

For Category C- 10 students will get Rs. 600 per month for 2 or 3 years.

11. Central Sector Scheme of National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students

 

This scholarship is offered to meritorious ST students who want to pursue UG and PG Courses in Medical, Management, Engineering, Law, etc.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Students need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship:

According to the respective institutions ' norms, ST students who have secured admission in the notified institutions will be eligible for the scholarship under the scheme.

Students can only join the list of Institutions identified by the Ministry.

Student’s family income should not exceed Rs. 6 lakh per year.

Once the student has taken the admission and started attending the classes, they will get the scholarship. The scholarship will be provided until the completion of the course but only as per the student's satisfactory performance.

 

Scholarship Awarded

ST students will be awarded the following assistance:

Tuition Fees- Full tuition fees will be provided to the student.

Books & Stationary- Rs. 3000/- per annum.

Living Expenses- Rs. 2200/- per month.

Computer & Accessories- Rs. 45,000/- one time assistance.

 

 

12. Post-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

 

This scholarship is offered to students with disabilities to continue their studies in Class 11, 12, graduate, and post-graduate levels. All graduate and post-graduate degree/ diploma courses recognized by UGC/AICTE will be covered in this scholarship.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Students need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship:

This scholarship will not be offered for the training courses like Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses and Private Pilot License Courses.

Students who have passed any higher examination are eligible for this scholarship.

Students who have pursued one level of education and are studying at the same level in different subjects will not be eligible for this scholarship.

Students pursuing LLB/BEd/BElEd after pursuing B.A./BSc/B.E. are eligible for this scholarship.

Students pursuing two different courses simultaneously can apply for this scholarship for any one course.

Students studying in Class 11 of the Higher Secondary School courses or 12 Class of the Multipurpose High School will not be eligible for this course.

Students after failing or passing the UG exams in Arts/Science/Commerce join the professional or technical certificate/diploma/degree courses will be eligible for this scholarship.

Students who pursue their course through correspondence are also eligible.

Employed students whose income combined with their parent's income does not exceed the maximum prescribed income ceiling are eligible for this scholarship.

 

Scholarship Awarded

1. For Hostellers: Rs. 950/- per month.
