1. CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship

 

The CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship provide scholarships to the deserving girls who are the single child of their parents. This CBSE Scholarship aims to encourage girl child education so that they can perform well and get quality education.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

To apply for this CBSE Scholarship, students need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

 

A single girl student who has scored 60% / 6.2 CGPA or more marks / grades in CBSE Class X Examination and is studying in Class XI & XII in School (affiliated with CBSE) whose tuition fee is not more than 1,500/- p.m. during the academic year.

NRI single girl students can also apply for this scholarship. The tuition fee decided for them is 6,000/- per month.

 

 

Cash Awarded

 

A girl student will get a scholarship of Rs. 500/- per month for a maximum period of two years

2. Shiksha Abhiyan Scholarship

 

The Shiksha Abhiyan Scholarship is an initiative by the Modi Foundation. It provides scholarships to all category students from any school in India with the core philosophy of "No youth should be deprived and left behind from education".

 

The main aim of this CBSE Scholarship is to help the deserving and needy students who can’t afford to get the quality education.

 

Eligibility Criteria

3. All India Meritorious Scholarship

 

All India Meritorious Scholarship Test (AIMST) is an online exam for the needy students to compete at national level. Scholarships will be given to the top 62 students based on the family income along with test results, board marks and interview.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

This is the CBSE Scholarship 2019 for Class 12, Class 12 pass outs and Class 11 students. Only these students are eligible for this scholarship.

 

Students who have got their Class 10 results but not yet enrolled for Class 11 are also eligible for this CBSE Scholarship.

First prize- Top 2 winners will get 25000/- each.

Second prize- Top 20 winners will get 10,000/- each.

4. NCERT Scholarship

 

This is the Scholarship for 10th passed CBSE Students and for other board students as well. NCERT Scholarship helps the deserving and needy students financially to continue with their higher studies. To get this CBSE Scholarship, students need to appear in a test.

 

The test is conducted in two stages. The first is at the state level by the Department of State Education Research and Training while the second level is organized by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) at National Level.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

To apply for this CBSE Scholarship for Class 10, students need to satisfy the below eligibility criteria:

A regular Class 10th student can apply for this scholarship.

Students need to secure 45% for SC/ST categories and 55% for General categories in their 9th standard exam.

5. National Talent Search Examination (NTSE)

 

NTSE is a scholarship program that was started by NCERT in 1963. The aim of this program is to identify the talented students who belong to Class 10th and support them financially. This exam consists of Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Students need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria before they apply for this CBSE Scholarship:

Only students who are in the Class 10th can apply.

Student’s age should not be more than 18 years.

 

Cash Awarded

 

Students studying in Class XI onwards except for Ph.D. will get a scholarship of 500/- per month for their further studies.

7. Vidyadhan Scholarship

 

This is the scholarship for 10th passed CBSE Students as well as other board students. Vidyadhan Scholarship from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation offers a two-year scholarship to the deserving and talented students. Currently, Vidyadhan program has around 2800 students from different states of India.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Before you apply for this CBSE Scholarship, you need to first satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

Students who score 90% marks/ 9 CGPA in their Class 10th are eligible for this scholarship.

Students whose family income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs are eligible for the scholarship.

 

Cash Awarded

 

Through this CBSE Scholarship 2019, students from Class 11th and 12th will get a maximum amount of 6,000/- per year.

8. INSPIRE Scholarship

 

The INSPIRE Scholarship is one of the most popular scholarship program among science students. This program was developed by Department of Science & Technology to attract the talent to the excitement and study of science at an early age, and to help the country build the required critical resource pool for strengthening and expanding the S&T system and R&D base.

 

This CBSE Scholarship has three components:

Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent (SEATS)

Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)

Assured Opportunity for Research Careers (AORC)

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Students must satisfy the following eligibility criteria to apply for this scholarship:

Students who are among the top 1% in Class 12th are pursuing courses in Natural and Basic Sciences at the B.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. levels are eligible for this scholarship.

Students who have among the top 10,000 in JEE Advanced, JEE Main & NEET Exam and who also opt to study Natural and Basic sciences in any academic institute or university leading to graduate and post-graduate degree are eligible.

Students admitted to Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Basic Sciences (DAE-CBS) at the University of Mumbai or happen to be Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search (JBNSTS) scholars and Science Olympiad Medalists, opting to undertake courses in the Natural & Basic sciences leading to B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees are eligible for "SHE" scholarship.

 

Cash Awarded

 

Students who will be pursuing Bachelor and Masters level education in the Natural & Basic sciences will be offered a scholarship of 80,000/- every year.

9. Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students (CSSS)

 

This is the CBSE Scholarship 2019 for Class 12 students. It is a merit-cum-means scholarship program, which help the meritorious students financially to complete their higher studies.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Before you apply for this CBSE Scholarship for Class 12, you need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

Students who are above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream in their Class 12 are eligible for this scholarship.

 

Students must be pursuing a regular course.

Students whose family income is less than 6 Lakhs per year are eligible.

Students must not be receiving any other scholarship.

 

Cash Awarded

 

Students will be given a scholarship of 10,000/- per year at Graduation level for first three years and 20,000/- per annum at Post-Graduation level. Students pursuing professional courses will get 20,000/- per annum in the 4th and 5th year.

10. AICTE- Scholarship Scheme to Girl Child (SSGC)

 

This CBSE Scholarship is also known as “Pragati Scholarship”. It has been initiated by MHRD to provide encouragement and support to a Girl Child to pursue technical education.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Students need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria to apply for this CBSE Scholarship:

The girl should be an Indian only.

Only one girl child per family is eligible. But it can be extended for Two Girl Child per family where the family income is less than Rs. 8 Lakhs per year.

Students who have take admission to 1st year of the Degree or Diploma programme in any of the AICTE approved institute during the current academic year through centralized admission process of the State/ Centre Government are eligible for this scholarship.

 

Cash Awarded

 

The girl will get a scholarship as Tuition Fee of 30,000/- or at actual, whichever is less and 2000/- per month for 10 months as incidentals each year.
