CBSE Compartment Exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for CBSE Class 12th as well as Class 10th students are given as follows:
CBSE 12th Compartment Exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Below are the eligibility conditions for CBSE Class 12th students to appear in CBSE Compartment Exam 2019. A student must satisfy these conditions to appear in the compartment exam:
Students who failed in any one of their five subjects are eligible to appear in CBSE Compartment Exam.
Students having 6 subjects and got compartment in two subjects can appear in any one of the two compartmental subjects.
Students who have 6 subjects and declared PASS but could not clear one subject, can appear as an Improvement category in July 2019.
Students will be given three chances to clear their compartment exam 2019. The first one will be in July 2019, the second one in March/April 20 and last chance will be in July 2019.
CBSE 10th Compartment Exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Below are the eligibility conditions for CBSE Class 10th students to appear in CBSE Compartment Exam 2019. A student must satisfy these conditions to appear in the compartment exam:
Students can apply for CBSE Compartment Exam only in one or two subjects in which they are placed in Compartment.
The students who have appeared in Class 10th exam and are placed in EIOP (Eligible for Improvement of Performance) category are eligible for the exam.
Students who are placed in EIOP category will be given only one chance to appear in the exam. If a candidate fails to clear the exam and gets NIOP (Not Eligible for Improvement of Performance) in their CBSE Compartment Result 2019, then he/she cannot appear in the second chance.
Note: CBSE Improvement Exam is different from Compartment Exam. Improvement Exam can be given by only those students who have passed their Board Exams but are not satisfied with their marks. CBSE Compartment Exam can only be given by the students who failed in one of their subject.
CBSE Compartment Exam 2019: How to Apply for the Exam?
Now the first thing a student will look for is the complete procedure or how to apply for Compartment Exam CBSE?
Application Form Process for regular and private candidates are different. Regular candidates need to apply directly to their schools. Private candidates can to fill their CBSE Compartment Form 2019 Online on the official website.
Below we have provided the step-by-step procedure for Private candidates to fill their online CBSE Compartment Form 2019:
Step 1: Visit the official website www.cbse.nic.in.
Step 2: Once you visit the website, look for “Recent Announcements” section.
Step 3: Click on “Online Application for Class XII Compartment / Class X Improvement of Performance Examination”.
Step 4: Now look for “Online Submission of LOC for Compartment/IOP Exam 2019” or “Online Application for Private Candidate for Comptt/IOP Examination 2019”.
Step 5: Select a suitable link as per your class i.e. 12th or 10th Class. Enter Roll Number, School Code, Centre Number and click on “Proceed” Button.
Step 6: Now a form will be displayed on the screen. Fill the form carefully and submit. Be careful, fill all your details correctly. If your details are incorrect, your form may get rejected.
Step 7: After filling all your details correctly, upload the scanned copy of your photo and signature.
Step 8: After uploading all your documents, go to the fee payment option. You can pay the fee via demand draft or e-challan.
Step 9: After making the payment click on “Submit” button and take printout of confirmation page.
Step 10: Now you have to send your documents to the address of regional office within 7 days. Documents including the photocopy of the confirmation page, photocopy of marksheet and e-challan or if you have paid via demand draft, then the original DD must be sent.
Students who have successfully registered themselves for the exam may download their CBSE Compartment Admit Card which is available on the official website.
