How to Check IIT JAM Result 2026?
You can download the IIT JAM Exam 2026 scorecard from the official website after the result declaration. Read the following steps to know how to download the IIT JAM 2026 Result.
Step 1: Visit the official JOAPS 2026 portal: jam2026.iitb.ac.
Note - If you forget your login credentials, click on the “Forget Enrollment ID or Password” button.
Step-2: Log in using your Enrollment ID / Email Address and Password.
Step-3: Your result will display your Sectional Marks, Total Marks, and your All India Rank (AIR).
Step-4: Note: The downloadable "Scorecard" is separate from the "Result" and will be available starting March 27, 2026..

If you have qualified, keep your documents ready for the admission process, which starts in April. Specifically:

What is the Tie-Breaking Rule in IIT JAM 2026?
In some cases where two or more candidates get similar marks, the exam conducting authority has to use the rank-based tie-breaking criterion.
According to the tie-breaking rule in the JAM exam, the candidate who has a higher ratio of positive marks to negative marks will get a higher rank.
But if this scheme fails to break the tie, the same ranks would be awarded to the candidates.
