The much-awaited Cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was taken place on 30th May 2019. After a long assessment, some important changes have been made by PM Modi in his cabinet.
PM Narendra Modi changed the 40% of Ministry. One third of this cabinet, has the debutants.
Here, we are notifying the major changes made by PM Modi according to his assessment.
Major Changes in Modi Cabinet
Amit Shah takes charge as Minister of Home Affairs.
Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar will be the External Affairs Minister in New Cabinet.
Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' is introduced as Minister of Human Resource Development
Smt. Sushma Swaraj and Suresh Prabhu are no longer a part of the new cabinet of Modi.
The major part of cabinet belongs to the Hindu belt. As 31 ministers are situated to Hindi heartland, 5 ministers are from South India, 2 ministers from North-East India and 18 ministers are situated from other areas of India.
There are only 10 ministers are younger than 50 years, 17 ministers are between the 50 – 60 years, 29 ministers in between 60 – 70 years and only 2 ministers are older than 70.
