Essential Eligibility Condition Common for All Railway Exams
For RRB Online Application, the foremost eligibility condition is that every candidate must possess the Nationality / Citizenship. The candidate who aspires to apply for various posts of Indian Railways must fulfill the following conditions:
Must be the citizen of India.
Must be Subject to Nepal.
Must be Subject to Bhutan.
Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to be settled permanently in India.
A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2022
The eligibility criteria is the must thing that you must have fulfill to be eligible for the exam. Railway NTPC Exam is conducted for various categories which are mentioned below.

RRB NTPC Age Limit
The age limit for the candidates who want to apply for the Railway NTPC Exam should not be less than 18 years and not more than 32 years.
The age limit of the candidate is calculated as on 1st January 2018. This is common age limit criteria for all posts under Railway NTPC which are mentioned above.
Age Relaxation to Various RRB NTPC categories
As per the RRB Notifications issued by the Officials, the age relaxation is also provided to some reserved categories in the upper age limit. The details of the age relaxation as per the category are listed below.

RRB NTPC Educational Qualification
The Educational Qualification for RRB NTPC Exam depends on the post you are applying for. RRB NTPC Medical Fitness Criteria
The candidates selected for appointments at various RRB NTPC posts should pass the Medical fitness test, to ensure that they are medically fit to carry out the duties. The most important Eligibility criteria are the Visual Acuity Standards or eye-sight.

RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Eligibility

The candidate needs to complete the ITI (approved by NCVT/SCVT) in any specific trade to apply for this post.

Railway Loco Pilot Medical Standards
The Medical Standards required for RRB ALP Exam requires Loco running men to have the highest standard of medical fitness.
This medical standard has to be maintained from the period of joining and up to the end of the career as Railway driver.
Railway Loco Pilot Language
The question paper will be provided in 15 languages i.e. Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
Railway Loco Pilot Signature
Now the candidates can make the signature in any language apart from the Hindi & English.
RRB Junior Engineer/ Senior Section Engineer Eligibility Criteria
Railway Recruitment Board recruits eligible Engineers for the posts of RRB Junior Engineer, Senior Section Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, Chief Depot Material Superintendent.
Candidates should first fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as specified by the Board to apply for both Railway Junior Engineer eligibility & Senior Section Engineer Eligibility Criteria.

RRB JE/ SSE Age limit
The age limit of the candidate applying for the Junior Engineer post should be between 18-25 years of age and for Senior Section the age limit is 20- 34 years.

Railway RRC Group D Eligibility
The candidates who are willing to appear for the RRC Group D exam must fulfill all the RRC Group D eligibility conditions given below.

Railway Group D Educational Qualification
As per the latest notification, the educational criteria for the RRB Group D has been changed. The candidates who want to apply for Level-1 (RRB Group D) examination must possess class 10th or ITI or its equivalent qualification from the recognized board or institute.
Recent changes in Minimum Qualification Limit for the wives and widows of the employees
The board has scrapped the rule of mandatory minimum educational qualification for the wife or the widow of the employee for the Level-1 job on compassionate grounds. Previously, the minimum qualification was class 10th.
As per the board "These appointments can be made provided the appointing authority is satisfied that the duties of the post against which the appointment is being made can be performed with help of some on-job training."
These jobs on compassionate grounds are given to wives or widows of employees who died during service or retired as medically unfit.
Railway Group D Age limit
The age limit for the RRB Group D posts has been extended by 2 years in recent updates. The maximum age limit for the different categories is shown below:

RRC Group D Age Relaxation
The Age Relaxation for RRC Group D Post is same as RRB JE – SSE Age relaxation.
Railway Group D Physical Test Eligibility
There are some physical standards set by the Board for the post of RRC Group D.
For Male Candidates: Male candidates should be able to run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance and should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
For Female candidates: Female candidates should be able to run 400 meters in 3 minutes and 10 seconds in one chance and should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
For PWD candidates: PWD candidates are exempted from Physical Test.
Railway Group D Language
The question paper will be provided in 15 languages i.e. Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
