RRB JE Exam Pattern- Have a look!

 

RRB JE Exam includes 2 stages Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) of computer based test (CBT). Check the Railway JE Exam pattern below to have a clear idea of the number of questions asked form each topic.

 

CBT 1 of RRB JE consists 100 questions for 90 minutes that includes four sections mathematics, reasoning, general awareness,and general science.

RRB JE CBT 2 have 150 questions for 120 min which also includes 50 questions for general awareness, general science, computer and environment while 100 questions for technical abilities.

There will be Negative Marking of 1/3 Marks in the written exam.

Candidate will be eligible for next round if the get the minimum qualifying marks as 40% for UR, 30% for OBC, 30% for SC and 25% for ST.

Railway Exam Pattern for Senior Section Engineer consists of 2 Sections: General Ability and Technical Ability. The details of Railway SSE Exam Pattern is provided below-

RRB ALP Exam Pattern | No. of Ques, Marking Scheme & Time Duration

 

The RRB ALP Exam is going to be conducted in 4 stages as given below –

1. First Stage CBT

2. Second Stage CBT

3. Computer Based Aptitude Test (For ALP Only)

4. Documents Verification

 

 

1.First Stage CBT Exam

The first stage Computer Based Test (CBT) is of screening nature. The exam pattern is as follows:

2. Second Stage CBT Exam

There shall be negative marking for Incorrect answers in First and Second Stage CBT Exam.

For each incorrect answer 1/3rd of the total marks would be deducted for each attempted question.

Computer Based Aptitude Test shall be conducted only for candidates applying for ALP Exam.

There is no negative marking in Computer Based Aptitude Test.

If you have applied for ALP Post and qualified both the stages of CBT, you would be called for Document Verification after qualifying the Fourth Stage Computer Based Aptitude Test.

If you are applying for the Technician Post, then you will be directly called for Document Verification after First and Second Stage CBT.

 

3. Computer Based Aptitude Test (Third Stage only for ALP Posts)

The candidates need to secure at least 42 marks in each of the test to qualify the exam. There is no relaxation permissible in this stage and is applicable for all qualified candidates.

 

4. Document Verification (Fourth Stage)

Document Verification is the final stage in ALP/Technician Exam and is applicable for all the candidates who qualify both the stages of CBT as well as CBAT Exam.

 

5. Final Selection

The final merit list would be depicted from the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70 % weightage is for marks obtained in Part – A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in Computer Based Aptitude Test.

RRB NTPC Syllabus 2022 Exam - List of Important Topics for Various NTPC Stages

 

The RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) is a well-known exam for various non-technical posts in Railways. The exam is conducted by 21 RRBs in various regions. The following 9 job profiles fall under this exam:

1. Assistant Station Master (ASM)

2. Commercial Apprentice (CA)

3. Traffic Apprentice (TA)

4. Senior Clerk Cum Typist

5. Traffic Assistant

6. Enquiry Cum Reservation Clerk (ECRA)

The selection procedure includes the following stages of the exam:

The RRB NTPC Syllabus for Stage 1 and Stage 2 exam is almost same for all the four subjects. The exam pattern also contains the same subjects in both the stages.

RRB NTPC Stage-1 exam is held for all the posts but the Stage-2 exam is not conducted for those who have applied for the posts of CA, TA, ECRC & Goods Guard. A merit list is released for them based on their performance in the 1st Stage examination.

RRB NTPC Syllabus - Stage 1 & Stage 2 Exam

 

The RRB NTPC Exam syllabus for all the 9 posts includes the following subjects. The same should be followed for NTPC 2nd Stage candidates except those who have applied for CA, TA, ECRC and Goods Guard posts.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern - Know Paper Pattern for Various NTPC Stages

 

The exam for both the stages i.e. RRB NTPC Prelims and Mains is objective type and will be conducted only in online mode.The details of Exam pattern are available for you below in the blog.

 

RRB NTPC Prelims Exam Pattern

 

The RRB NTPC Exam Pattern for all the 9 posts i.e. TC, TA, CA, ECRC, JAA, Senior Time Keeper, Station Master, Senior Clerk and Goods Guard is as follows:

The time given for the Stage-1 examination is of 90 minutes or 1.5 hours.

RRB NTPC Stage-1 will be a Computer Based Test that means it will be conducted online.

There number of questions will be 100.

For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and for the incorrect answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.

 

Candidates can now checkout  their NTPC Results as the final Results are out.

 

 

RRB NTPC Mains Exam pattern

RRB NTPC Mains Exam is conducted for those candidates who qualify the Stage-1 exam and only for the 5 posts namely ASM, TC, Senior Time Keeper, Senior Clerk and JAA.

RRB NTPC Stage-3 Exam or Aptitude Test pattern

RRB NTPC Stage-3 Pattern and syllabus is helpful for the candidates who have applied for the positions of ASM and TA.

If you are one of those who gets selected for the Senior Clerk, JAA, Senior Time Keeper, then you must appear for the typing test.

The typing test for the above-mentioned posts requires that the candidate typing speed should be at least 30 wpm in English and 25 wpm in Hindi.
