SSC conducts the SSC GD Constable Exam every year at all India level to recruit candidates for the various post of constables in various department. These SSC GD Posts are given below:

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria 2019

 

SSC Constable Eligibility criteria include many different Categories like qualification, age limit, age relaxation, and most important the physical ability/standards for the post of SSC GD Constable that should be considered for appearing in the exam.

 

In case, you don’t fulfill all the conditions of SSC GD Eligibility Criteria then you will be disqualified for all posts of constable by the commission.

Things to be noted under GD Constable Eligibility -

 

Candidates belonging to the physically handicapped category are not eligible to apply for this examination.

The personnel of Central Para Military Forces is not eligible to apply under Ex-Servicemen category.

 

 

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria [Nationality/ Citizenship]

 

Candidates who are willing to apply for the post of SSC GD Exam 2019 must be either-

 

A citizen of India or

A subject of Nepal or

A subject of Bhutan or

Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to be settled permanently in India.

A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

 

 

SSC GD Physical Eligibility Criteria 2019

 

SSC GD Physical Standard Test is very important for those candidates who want to apply for SSC GD Exam. It will be conducted by Delhi Police.

 

The SSC GD constable physical eligibility test is conducted for those who successfully qualify the online exam. Failing in the Physical Test means you will not be able to get the job even you if you have cleared the GD Constable Computer Based Exam.

 

Commission had set some physical standard for those candidates who want to apply for the exam. All the details about SSC GD Constable physical standards have been given in the table below.

For all male candidates including Ex-servicemen and departmental candidates (age-wise), SSC GD Physical Endurance Test (qualifying) for the post of Constable (Exe.) will be as under: -

Up to 31 years 6 Minutes 14 Feet 3’9”
From the age above 31 to 40 years 7 Minutes 13 Feet 3’6”
Above 40 years 8 Minutes 12 Feet 3’3”

 

 

For all female candidates including departmental candidates (age-wise), SSC GD physical standards will be as under:

From the age above 31 to 35 years 09 Minutes 09 Feet 2’9”

 

 

Things to be noted under Physical Eligibility set by SSC -

 

 

If you qualify in the race event then only you will be eligible to appear in the long jump and high jump events.

 

The Staff Selection Commission will give you only three chances to qualify in long Jump and high jump events.

 

Candidates couldn’t appeal against disqualification in race, long jump & high jump, however, the candidate may appeal against height and chest measurement on the same day of PE & MT before the Appellate Board.

 

There shall be no chest measurement for Female candidates under SSC GD Physical Test. The candidature of female candidates who are pregnant at the time of PE & MT will be rejected as they cannot undergo the test. No appeal/ representation will be entertained against such rejection.

 

If you use drugs then you will disqualify from SSC GD Physical Endurance and Measurement test.

SSC GD Educational Qualification 2019

 

Educational qualification is compulsory norm set under SSC GD eligibility standards for appearing in the SSC GD 2019. Education qualification for SSC GD Constable for all posts are given below:

If you have 12th passed certificate from any recognized Board/ University then you are eligible for SSC GD Exam 2019.

If a candidate has not acquired the educational qualification at the time of filling of application form then, the Delhi Police will cancel the candidature of such candidate.

SSC GD Age Limit Criteria 2019

 

SSC has been set the age criteria for all candidates, who want to apply for Constable GD Exam. You will have to fulfill the age criteria set for GD Constable eligibility to appear in this exam. All the information about SSC GD Age Limit are given below:

 

Age limit for the post of Constable (Exe) male is 18-21 years and for the female is 18-25 years.

 

Candidates should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age eligibility.

 

 

Age Relaxation for SSC GD Exam 2019

 

SSC provides some age relaxation for different categories, which are as follows: -

Departmental Male/ Female Candidates for open vacancies in Delhi Police Only Departmental Candidates (Unreserved) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date Upto 30 years of age.

SSC Constable GD Medical Eligibility Criteria 2019

 

SSC conducts SSC GD Medical Exam for those candidates who have cleared the physical test. Below are the eligibility criteria on which the medical test will be based on.

 

 The minimum distant vision should be 6/12 of two eyes (without glasses).

 You should be free from color blindness.

 If you have undergone Lasik surgery for improvement of vision (Eye Sight) will be eligible, if their vision (Eye Sight) is found normal after the conduct of the following Tests at the Govt. Hospital: -

  1. Contrast sensitivity.
  2. Dim light vision (Mesopic vision)
  3. Glare acuity

    SSC has released the SSC GD Answer key 2018 for CBT. Now SSC will release the GD result on 31st May 2019. There is no official dates of PET/PST Test.
