    Please reply.

    • Eduncle Team

      Hello Karan,

      Greetings from Eduncle!

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us!

The surety of being selected in for SSC CGL Exam Tier 3 will be cleared after the SSC authorities release the final set of cutoffs for both eTier 1 and Tier 2 combined.:)

If we analyze the final cut offs for SSC CGL Exam 2015 for the UR category, for all Interview posts the cutoffs ranged between 490 – 525 and for Non-Interview Posts the cutoffs ranged from 413 – 437. If we take these figures into account the cutoffs for UR category will surely cross the 500 marks and will be till 530 for the Interview posts.

The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam was moderate in terms of difficulty with English being tougher. So you can expect a higher cutoff.

Wishing you all the Best for your Result! may you achieve success in your hard work!

      Kind Regards,
      Eduncle Team

sir you said that good chance for non interview post but why not for interview post? last year cutoff for interview post was out of 700 and not 600 and this year 100 marks exam yet to happen

        • Eduncle Team

          Hello Vikash,

          Greetings from Eduncle!

We wish you get good scores Tier 2 and successfully attempt Tier 3. We clearly mention that just to provide satisfaction to a candidates’ anxiety to know about the Cutoffs the Experts derive the expected cutoffs considering few important factors.

As the SSC CGL 2016 Exam is yet to have the Tier 3 round of 100 marks which would be total descriptive one and of qualifying nature, but the marks would be considered and add up for shortlisting the candidates for the next phase of the Recruitment Process.

Start practicing for Tier 3. All the Best!

          Kind Regards,
          Eduncle Team

      Kind Regards,
      Eduncle Team

  22. Karan

    Thanks for ur reply sir,
as I was gng thru ur reply to other queries, u have mentioned about the nip cutoff to be somewhere around 420-450. Could u plz explain what is this out of, 600 or 700? and cutoff means score for final selection right? or just eligibility?

    Thanks in Advance

    • Eduncle Team

      Hello Karan,

      Greetings from Eduncle!

It’s good to have a Q & A session with you :)! Thanks for showing interest!

Well, the cutoff serves the prime purpose, it clearly proves your eligibility for the next round of the recruitment phase. The final selection of a candidate is verified after the Interview and document verification phase.

If a candidate doesn’t possess the required documents proving his or her eligibility then the concerned authorities can cancel the candidatures even if the candidate has secured the relevant cutoff.

For the NIP the expected cut off mentioned is out of 600 (for few of the poss). This time you can expect the cutoffs to go high, as there is a change in the exam pattern and the level of questions also was high this time.

      Kind Regards,
      Eduncle Team

  23. VIpin

Thanks for you answer Eduncle team.
one more query please , I scored 460 in T1+T2, T3 is still pending and 500 was the overall cutoffs for last year (T1+T2+T3) ,for T1+T2 cutoffs of last year was around 430. Should I expect only Non-interview post with 460 score in T1+T2

    • Eduncle Team

      Hello Vipin,

      Greetings from Eduncle!

Thanks for sharing your queries with us!

Vipin, you can expect high cutoffs this year as the competition is toughened with hundreds and thousands of candidates clearing the first and second levels respectively.

If the cutoffs are in sync with the last year with minimal shift here and there, you can expect a call for the Interview posts after you successfully clear the Tier 3.

All the Best Vipin for your Results!

      Kind Regards,
      Eduncle Team

      • deepakjha

Last year average score in tier2 was 300 . do you really think that this will be average score this time. This year’s paper was tough then how can we expect that cutoff will go high.
