A huge number of students enroll for Class 10th and Class 12th Exam in various schools which are affiliated to CBSE. After filling the application form successfully, students are waiting for the CBSE Admit card 2018 Class 12th and 10th.


According to the Date Sheet, both CBSE Class 10th Exam has been conducted from 5th March 2018 to 4th April 2018. Class 12th Exams has been conducted from 5th March 2018 to 12th April 2018.

Before we start discussing the CBSE Admit Card 2018 Class 10th and 12th, let’s talk about some quick facts!



Over 28.24 lakh students have appeared for the CBSE Board across the country.


 Among them 16.38 lakh students enrolled for Class 10th and 11.86 lakh students have appeared in Class 12th Board Exams.


 Please Note that the Regular Students have to collect CBSE 12th Admit Card 2018 and CBSE Admit Card 2018 Class 10th at their respective Schools. There is no facility to Download Admit Card for Regular Students.


 The Private Students can download Admit Card Online on their own.



In no case the heads of affiliated schools shall detain eligible candidates from appearing at the examination.



CBSE Admit Card Class 10th and 12th – Download Process for Regular and Private Students



The Central Board of Secondary Education released the CBSE Admit Card 2018 Class 12th and CBSE Admit Card 2018 Class 10th for both regular and private students on the official website.


Let’s go over the steps to download the CBSE Admit Cards.


Step 1 - Visit the CBSE official website.


 Step 2 - Look for the column of recent announcements.


 Step 3 - Click on the link Online Admit Card/Centre Material for Class X/XII – 2018 (School Login for Regular Candidates)”.


 Step 4 - Click on “Click here to proceed” on the next page.


 Step 5 - Schools need to enter their user ID, password and security code in the given space.

 Step 6 - This will generate the full list of the students with options to download their admit cards as well as center material (attendance sheet, candidates’ list etc).


 Step 7 - Download it and also take a print out of the same.




CBSE Private Candidate Admit Card 2018



All CBSE private students who have applied for the Board Exams 2018 can follow the below-mentioned steps and download the CBSE Private Admit Card 2018 now.


 Step 1 - Go to the official website.


 Step 2 - Under the ‘Recent Announcements’ tab, Private Candidates can follow the link mentioned below.


Online Admit Card for Private Candidates for Main Exam 2018 (Class X/XII)


 Step 3 - Click on “Admit Card/Intimation Letter”.


 Step 5 - Private students need to enter the following credential –


Select the Region in which you reside.


Application Number or Previous Roll Number and Year or Candidate Name.


and after entering their details click to Proceed.

 Step 6 - CBSE Private Candidate Admit Card 2018 will be displayed on your screen. Check the admit card for any discrepancy.


 Step 7 – Download your CBSE Private Admit Card 2018 and take a printout for future reference.

CBSE Improvement Admit Card 2018



The students who have filed for board improvement examination are also required to download CBSE Improvement Admit Cards.

    my school is refusing to give me my admit card even though I have given the practical exam with external and have my cbse roll number
    I have managed to download my admit card even though I am a regular student
    my question is can I give the exam with it
    or does it need the stamp and signature of the school
    it is very important as I am giving the exam in few days
    the reason they are not giving it is the performance in pre-board
    my attendance is over 75

      Yes, you need the stamp and signature as a regular student. You can complain to the education department if your school refuses to provide admit card.
